frank, SSB did this just 4 u: 12-month price target on cpq to $50 a share. In a note,
Gardner said, "All signs point toward a solid fourth quarter." Maintained
4Q earnings estimate of $0.38 a diluted share and 1999 estimate of
$1.97. Established estimate of $2.50 a share for year 2000. Kept rating
at buy. (Reuters 11:49 AM ET 12/08/98)

Good evening Frank,

I am glad that you liked the print. Check this one out of Juliet, it is really pretty and tell me what you think.

Good luck to you with the compaq. I am sure that it will do well. I just wonder if this is not a good time to buy some Dell since it has not done much recently. I think that Dell is going to be another Microsoft or Intel at some point.

The weather here is still absolutely gorgeous. Very sunny, not hot and not cold. I hope that it stays this way for awhile. I am sorry to hear that you are not continuing to have nice weather.

Have a good day.

Warm regards,
Margaret

Frank. CPQ. Don't worry. That price target of 50 in 1 year is for the birds. I heard a price target of 62 and this could be low if the sales numbers from CPQ are right. I heard this evening that CPQ had their best sales ever.

AOL did well today. It was higher but better a little than nothing. One fund manager mentioned today that those internet stocks need a breather and that AOL would be a really good buy for the long term when it goes down about 1o to 15%. They said the same thing about Amzn and look where it is now. AOL was a bit affected by the T and IBM news, I think. AOL is in opposition of that buyout unless everyone gets to use the fast internet connection in works.
