Bob, I have played most of these indices, but the premiums seem awfully rich. A new one, the DOT, a true internut index, starts tomorrow on the Philly and I want to see how it is priced. I have made good money over the years on the Sox, the XCI and the IIX. I haven't played the CBOE internet index. This year, I have also made money on the DRG and the XAL, dopers and flying machines, respectively. But right now, the premiums have moved beyond ridiculous, IMHO. And you have much more chance of a single co. falling apart than of an index. So, I'd try to buy a few select cos. and avoid the indices unless pricing improves.

Also, there is no exercise option on the indices, which makes me a bit leery when there is little volume.
