ATTN: NEWCOMERS TO THIS THREAD:

Valuespec has been bashing this stock for over one year with such consistency and with such repetitiveness that he has completely destroyed this thread as a place for productive exchange of information.

The points he continues to reiterate have been debated and refuted
numerous times, yet he persists. There are many well-informed investors who adhere to much more positive sentiments toward Franklin Telecommunications but they no longer post on this thread. If you are seriously interested in learning more about FTEL, you will have to look elsewhere for reliable information.

VS, you said:
"Regarding FTEL, this company's history is all one needs to look at in order to decide if one likes this company for anything but a possible trade.
I am expecting disappointing revenues for the quarter ending Dec 31, 1998, and I'm expecting the profits to be bad as usual."
.
My Rebuttal -
The company history includes a much-needed change of management, followed by a 61% increase in revenues for the June 98 quarter, followed by a further 78% increase for the Sep 98 quarter. That's not positive enough for you?
.
Which brings us to the current quarter ---
.
I figure we will have sustained growth in TEMPEST revenues, but the kicker will be SPECTACULAR growth in FNET revenues.
I estimate 30%++ growth in total revenues over the Sep quarter.
What limp qualifier (yes, but) will you use then?
I further predict you will then absent yourself from this board for a while, so you won't have to face the 'music'!
Maybe we'll have the revenue figures shortly after the 1st of the year.
