What happened Did all the gas burn up?

An Increase flow of water could put the fire out. If the casing is continuing to crack up more water could be entering the system and therefore put out the fire...The question is, What is the pounds/SQ. inch and how much gas and oil is coming out. Were is the H2O coming from.

They will need more than one well in that field anyway.
It will be a while before the state of this well can be properly assessed. We will need more information to see where the share price goes. Having the fire out will make it much easier to cap.
Hope that they keep Columbo away from the site!
It is possible that there was some movement of material at the bottom of the well and that it made it's own plug with the drill in place. Maybe just enough to make her cough.
All speculation for now.
