AMDolt, Katmai has been sampling since June. Those Jan 3rd shipments are for product, not samples.

Nice post!

I'm beginning to think, after cogitating on Kash's message about CPQ having the only chipsets, that CPQ will be releasing a K7 high end product in Q1 99, providing that the first fab30 wafer runs work out at all.

Is CPQ *still* one of AMDs largest shareholders? Is this part of what is driving the CPQ stock up?
