Possibly true if their DS3 CFR works. I have heard a rumor that it does not. (and will not for a while) Further, I have heard a rumor that a certain RBOC is pissed off about the cards delay and the story they got about it. Can anyone verify if ASND's DS3 CFR card is shipping? If it is not, I am reasonably certain the 9000 is not the most cost effective FR fanout on the market.

Also, in keeping with thread etiquette, does anyone know how LU's IP switch (PacketStar?)trials are going?

Mr Fun,

OK I agree in part with most of what you said. However AT&T is also re-evaluating the CSCO ATM backbone products..remember BT is CSCO backbone based and so the JV is up for grabs. Who ever get the JV will get the larger percentage of the collective backbone business.

It's taken a week to track down, but at long last I've received word this information is accurate. In fact, my source indicates the problem could take many months to solve.

Do you have any update on this?

Thanks in advance.
