ZP,

I think of my setup as several independent computers in one box.

Thanks for the review of your philosophy. I seem to be moving in similar directions, mostly as I try to reduce dependencies on individual fail points. I have almost scrapped my plan to install the application files on a separate drive/partition as I have come to appreciate the potential to get ALL screwed up on drive letters.

I know it is here some where
I think next time I see those Dos6 diskettes, I will set up a Dos partition and see if I can get my sound card to work on it. I've got the X-wing CD-ROM (somewhere) which I probably will never master. It is fun to blow up the death star ... but I'd like to do it without cheating! It is cheaper to lose at older games than to lose at newer games. Haven't had much time since the adult to child ratio evened up.

Clarence, good luck on the new monitor. Be prepared for the old ones to look really yucky! (Yes, my vocabulary has been shaped by small children!)
