Vicki..

RE: TMEX picks

Concentrate on the ideas that are tied to a
specific outside event occurring..examples
would be the GERN trade..based on weekend news
reports on the technology or MALL based on an
"announced" ipo of a subsidiary..
That way you have a specified time frame for
the trade to develop or not..no guessing
and no being left to hold the bag..

Apologize for tardy response; and to your point about having to act rapidly on info (you called tips -some are tips, some are info - often cannot tell diff unless you know source). Example, today I had to do my regular job without access to Net; tough to do day trading. You must realize that many day traders trade 2, 3, and more times/day ON THE SAME STOCK!. Plus buy/sell same stock same day. I can't answer how much time you have to be on Terminal per trading day, but I suspect hours. Chickenman (I think) claims to be student and does spend time away from computer - but still puts in considerable time.

As a mostly long term trader (who is exploring day trading (18 trades last 8 days and losing money (Making money on my long term trades (Mostly CD, CPQ, C, etc)) I understand your question - I would ponder it before jumping aboard. Ex - NAVR; has been all over the place - look it up, it's been the darling and love/hate stock lately.

Keep Lurking;
