David,

I have to do further research on the autocorrelation or lack thereof in the case on short term interest rate fluctuations. Cannot answer that of the top of my head.

Asian options are a type of exotic options where (in short) the average rather than the final price determines the value of the option.

My understanding of market rationality is as follows:

Currency markets are generally assumed to be more efficient that equity markets. As we had discussed earlier, in a market where the strong form of EMH holds, no one has an advantage and all trades are noise trades. Unpredictability in such a market is absolute and everyone is trading "at random". Fundamental analysis gives no edge in such a market as all fundamental information is either already reflected in the price or gets reflected instataneously. If we assume that TA is equivalent to trading at random, market practitioners following TA is exactly what we would expect in such a market.
