I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about DIALY trying to enter the consumer retail market. I think the single shopping cart idea is a winner. Think about all the newbies in the world who barely know how to use a mouse. It's harder than we all can imagine for them to go to all these shopping sites and figure out how they work: how to register, use the search engines, use the shopping carts, pay, etc., etc. DIALY offers them a chance to master one shopping environment and then do all their shopping through that one, uniform interface. Very elegant and powerful.

The down side is that establishing a retail brand is hard work and extremely expensive. I don't want DIALY to reproduce the outlays we're seeing from e-tailers like CDnow as they spend money to market their sites and create partnerships with portals. DIALY has a good thing going here, and we don't need them to go broke trying to market another retail interface.

The business-to-business position plays directly to their strengths: existing customer base and core competencies. I like it!
