Jaime: I am not trying to challenge you, but I found no mention (in the site below) that it has to start from a rising trend. What it does mention is that they are "more reliable when found in an up trend.

Having your own opinion is no challenge to me. Heck we are all entitled. I am kind of self-taught, so I bow to no books when it comes to formation charting.

So, forgive me on occasion when I voice my own views. I do not always agree with the books out there. I believe in keeping formation charting as simple as possible, that way it is more reliable.

But if you tell me that you are absolutely sure, I will take your word for it.

I am not absolutely sure of anything...<g>

You can have an ascending triangle bottom according to Edwards and Magee. They even have one as the head of an inverted H&S.
