Joe, Bt is a organic bug control agent used by organic farmers and gardeners. Monsanto is taking the Bt and genetically linking it to these engineered potatoes so that Colorado Potato Beetles will leave their potatoes alone and they can raise production levels. The thing is that bugs will develop immunity to anything if it is presented to them to eat enough times. So now these potatoes will make it so that Bt is not able to be used anymore as an organic control agent. There goes another bit of natures controls just for a buck. Lots of protestors have been fighting these environment pirates for years and the power of the buck just keeps on rolling along. Maybe Monsanto should look into Bt for the Y2k bugs in our computers.
