I am no great believer in Zionist methods, but the notion that people could have a nationality without having a nation does give some insight into Zionist motivation. Ironic, and sad, that they have put the Palestinians in the same position. I have to wonder if the atheist Jews considered themselves Jews, at least before they were rounded up and slaughtered for being what - in a religious sense - they no longer were. I suspect that without the pogroms and the Holocaust, many atheist Jews would no longer be considered Jews by anybody, including themselves. Steve
