You know what I really find interesting here. Barrick is making this offer based on the results we have seen so far. They a rushing to make the buy before the world finds out how big this discovery is? i love the last line of the NR which states "Management will continue to have discussions with other interested parties and is committed to maximizing shareholder value. The drilling program on the Company's Veladero's Project continues and the Company expects to be in a position to release further drill results shortly." The bidding war - Everyone remembers APQ and how CMS went into overdrive in the drilling program to prove up higher value. Barrick was forced to double their offer as I recall. John
