>>Most funds will sell at a loss if it will allow them to buy more stocks that will closely track S&P500 so they can reduce or improve their % vs. that index.

Which only 1 out of 6 manage to pull off; that's why index funds are the best bet in the fund arena.

Since there is no news surrounding this dip I have to presume it's one or more of the big boys selling. I believe we're in a restricted period, so it wouldn't be insider trading. So this shall pass fairly quickly and we'll get back to the 18 level. There are two critical forces that will drive it from there - how the market reacts to the inquisiti... er, impeachment hearing, and what numbers we post in January.

Have there been any positive proclamations from Aspect Land recently? I'd like collect any info that reflects on meeting the consensus.

I would concur that this is an elephant trampling the ants. Once the elephant passes through, it'll be business as usual. Saw two 100K blocks definitely on the BUY side at $15 5/8 - and 50K bought at $15.50, 25K bought at $15.375, etc.

But there is lots of overhead supply. These large buys aren't able to push through, however. Just have to wait it out. The seller may have needed funds somewhere else quickly and had bought below $13 a few weeks ago.

I am encouraged by the fact that the selling ceiling today is at a higher level than yesterday, and it looks like we may close above yesterday's close after gapping up in the morning. THe seller may have gotten rid of the bulk of his position yesterday and is trying to lure buyers into picking up the remaining shares today.

Therefore, I added some more shares to my position today.
