I think all the cards disappear (replaced by other face cards). You don't even look at the other cards, therefore you think only your card has disappeared.

Hey Zead:

If you look closely you will see that all the face cards change-not just the one you pick. For example-If the King of Hearts was in the first group-it will not be in the second group-even if you didnt pick that card-it would be replace by the King of Diamonds.
