Good evening, Chuz!!!

No, it makes it worse!
I figured you'd say that...just a hunch!!! :-)

Yes, I could see it as a bad thing. I also see the positive side of it. Billy Boy has to be aware of these business laws and how to get around the loopholes if he decides to do something like that. (Which I doubt...)

I also know Billy Boy is very image conscious!!! It's because of that I don't think he would not leave himself open that way!!! Case in point: He raises hell whenever a new VirusScan for DOS was rated #3 on a VSUM certification. He mentioned that he's using a certain well-known accounting practice... and have you ever seen a picture of Billy Boy where his hair is out of place? Very obsessive about image!!! (Too much snake oil on his hair IMHO...but I'm digressing...)

Actually, many tech companies use this kind of sleight of hand, so my ire is directed at all of them.

Yes and Billy Boy saves money by doing his own legal work, using a real lawyer to do the dirty paperwork!!! :-)

I'm sorry. I'm trying to find the humor in all this. And I'm confident based on what I've heard about the conferences that Billy Boy is playing it straight. (Why would he decide all of a sudden to take a breather from the acquisition spree??? Why did he go out to say he's using some standard accounting practice for business tax purposes?) It doesn't compute for me...

The only thing I'm concern about is the 4Q earnings...that's what I think is my #1 sticking point!!!

Been house hunting?
Yes and no. I've always looked at the Harmon Homes catalog and the websites. (Not unlike women browsing through the malls and going shopping...) But to actually call up an agent...NAH!!! The agents don't like to be approached unless you already have preapproval and the rates locked in!!! (i.e. money to burn!!!) And I won't have that until I sell the stocks!!!

Cheers,
Joanna
