--------------------------------------------------------------------------------The following was posted to the Bakersfield by a guy in Vancouver.

The Vancouver TV (channel 9) news segment was 5 - 10 minutes long and there were clear pictures of the well spewing a mixture of gas, oil and water into the air. The Bakersfield article seems to imply that the gas has reduced in volume but I don't believe that. They are going to try to reignite the well to cut down on pollution and make for better working conditions. They can't think they are going to reignite water. I bet the water and the oil are coming from the upper part of the well. I guess the gas pressure is not slowing down. It sure didn't look like it on TV. It sounded the same. But these are very early days in this wildcat situation.
