The funding of schools and anti-poverty programs come out of excess Social Security and Medicare funds. Now, Johnson and the Democrats started that. Besides, almost 95% of education funding comes from local taxes. The Dems can also be faulted for expanding both of those programs everytime they raise the default scare (as they are now). They raise taxes and age requirements, all the while expanding the SSDI and other programs which are rife with fraud. The Earned Income Tax Credit which Clinton was boasting about the day was found by the IRS to have at least 25% fraudulent claims. These fraud estimates have to be conservative. They found Southwest border towns where in one Texas town 6,000 Mexicans were coming across the border to file instant refund checks claiming the EITC credit. The whole purpose of the default scare for Social Security now is that the Natl Org of Women is now lobbying for expanded benefits.
