Well, its one thing to have cash, its another to use it. So would I invest in Quest, yes.

1) They are going to get there first by at least a half year if not a full year. He who gets there first often gets the worm.

2) They have been buying up company after company establishing a pretty comprehensive complete network of telecommunications assets

3) They have been signing up a lot of large contracts

4) They are advertising a bunch, which gets name recognition out there.

Would I invest in LVLT. Sure, I see both going places.

<invest in QWST versus LVLT?>

Hi Eric- Double edge sword. I invest in both of them, as a long,
for slightly different reasons. QWST for today and for timing, and LVLT because of their greater potential in the longer run. Both are
in the "infrastructure thing" and without that, kiss the entire
growth in the Internet goodbye--commerce, packetized voice, VPNs,
users and all of that.

Can you afford to do both ?? LVLT is a little bit later than QWST
cause they started later, but IMHO, offer the potential of a larger
return. Hope this helps. I like MFNX too and it has returned me
over 100% this year.
