Jay,
I have heard others say that a generator run once a day for about an hour will keep your refrigerator cold.There are a lot of variables to be considered such as outside temperature,efficiency of the fridge etc.This would be an area where each should test out their personal situation.Which is fairly easy if you have a backup fridge,not so easy
if you have only one fridge.
