Hi Jumper, your generous offer reminds me of the anecdote leading off James Grant's "Money of the Mind," some poor guy suffering from bipolar disorder hit a manic phase and announced his company was going to buy Dayton-Hudson, the Minneapolis department store for $6.8 billion.

Problem #1, Dayton-Hudson was only worth $4.5 billion according to analysts familiar with the company.

Problem #2, this guy's company was nowhere close to having that kind of money.

Unfortunately, after the "deal" was announced, the arbitrageurs jumped on it, and ran the stock up $10 before the truth came out, later that same day.

So, while I think your offer is generous, and interesting, I guess I am doubting your sanity?

Willing to be convinced,

CobaltBlue

Bless you ...

See you in NYC.

BTW. Is there anything fun to do there?
