RE: plenty of openings at Dell

Check the dellpage for hundreds of current openings, some posted in the last few days. If there is a freeze, they are wasting a lot of time and money in annoying job applicants and internal employers.

Lots of company keep ads and they do not hire the person anyway.
It could be like they are doing with their stocks holding. Telling you everything great while they are dumping. So they leave the Ad in there while not hiring anybody they make you think things are great. Sure you get a job in there if you work for nothing during the hiring freeze. (G) Kenny you must be get aggravated, it gets up to $68.75 and go back down. Man I admire your patience man. If that was me I would not have a computer to type for S.I. anymore. (G) Joe

How about that black chick. What her name something Watters. wasn't she great giving the Republician a piece of their own hypocrisy. (G)

I live in Austin and I can tell you from watching and listening to what is being planned (AROUND Dell) for city traffic patterns, etc there are NO local signs of letting up. My experience is if that kind of news was true the city would be a "buzz" with it LONG before it appeared on the Internet.

BTW..for their bonus/Christmas present last year each employee (except upper management) received around 200 shares of stock. Hmmm...I wonder what they'll get this year. $67 x 200 = $13,400 bonus, not bad for someone working on an assembly line.
