HP, Oracle Team On Data Warehouses
Hewlett Packard Co. and Oracle Corp. said they would "align" marketing and development efforts behind multi terabyte data warehouses. The sweeping agreement calls for HP, Palo Alto, Calif., and Oracle, Redwood Shores, Calif., to join forces in technology, R%26D, sales, consulting and support services in bringing databases of more than one terabyte into the marketplace.
