I HEAR that hopefully we will see some news on converge by year end. we will see. dssi management spend so much time in meetings you have to wonder what is going in these MEETINGS. its one thing working hard but at some point you have to see some results or some people have to be fired. unfortunately, that is how corporate america works these days. if your a money manager and you severly underperform the market you lose your job. investors have been very patience with dssi and management at some point they have to deliver. as one famous ceo stated,"management are not their to make shareholders feel comfortable. they are their to make them rich!" on a better note, i still think dssi stock is so undervalued its a joke. i see dssi selling or divesting tower next year at 17-19 which computes into over 50 million dollers or 8 dollers in dssi stock. the big wild card is converge and if it becomes a ipo in 1999-2000. remember, cellnet went public at a 600 million market cap. keep your fingers crossed. one good thing that management has done is they have built this company without diluting shareholders and most of their options are under water. they have never lowered their strike prices. i hope converge is as good as i believe. it seems like every december dssi is very good for investors that need tax losses because they can count on them . once again, tax loss selling in dssi is very heavy.
