"Now we know why Nortel is transferring LANCity to Antec. They are acquiring Cambrian Systems and will have their own metro DWDM." Ken, This is a mystery to me? I already thought Nortel has some leading edge DWDM technology and equipment. I'm fairly certain this is the case. Hiram, Didn't you mention, a while back, that Northern Telecom had some pretty awesome, DWDM technology available to them? I believe it came up in a discussion we were having about Harmonic's DWDM products. Am I remembering this right? If so, wonder why they needed to spend $300 million(!) for Cambrian?
