Well thanks Jesse for the compliment but I am no Prince. If I were, Barrick might have told me they were planning to buy out ARP. They did not, so I am trying to find someone who will sell me their lousy, good for nothing, very volatile and over inflated ARP...no takers so far. You wouldn't like to have a little cash for yours would you? You know it is Christmas as you say. ;)

Jesse, I address you because I know and respect your posts...

I have a question that should be right at the roots of a thread like this. I will be as brief as possible. I request responses from anyone with any valid input into the matter I raise.

1. I bought my first MMU many moons ago - on reading a report about, or by, the company, especially Mr. Boulay. I respected their strategy - and, what appeared to be, their tactics.

2. I rebought, only up to 25,000 shares, on a strong sense of reliance on Mr. Boulay - and after a most straightforward talk with a person in the Marum offices.

3. On seeing the NR of a day ago, I felt very comfortable that this was a sincere company - sincerely seeking a diamond hit.

4. Yesterday, Tuesday, I placed an order for 25,000 more shares at $0.053 (US). I believe this should have resulted in a purchase.

5. A few minutes ago, I found that my broker, PaineWebber, has a $0.02(US) surcharge for this stock. So, the $0.053 would have to go up to $0.073 per share - a hell of a percentage!

6. I have replaced the order with one for 20,000 shares at $0.063(US) - if the $0.02 surcharge is in Canadian dollars.

7. If that buy order is not consumated, I have a fallback order for 15,000 shares at $0.07(US) - asuming the surcharge is in US dollars.

8. I want to add to my MMU base.

QUESTION: What is the surcharge? Can it be reduced, or eliminated? Isn't three cents on a seven or eight cent stock fairly absurd. Sum up: Can I buy 25,000 shares of MMU at anything near the market price - despite the fact that I live in the US?

Thanks, GSM

PS: Any information on this subjuct will be appreciated. I am living on Social Security plus the results of substitute teaching of autistic kids. The MMU is my lottery ticket, under the pillow. I would be so happy to have been able to get 25K shares of MMU at about $14,000(US). Now, I am wondering how many I can get - and what the "surcharge" will do to the cost of them. gsm
