Japanese not selling car here when V-8 come out...a reduction in size from the V-12 OR a new configuration instead of a straight 8. OH WOW! I could have a V8...I do...and I'll stick with my Lexus. Really I travel by foot or thumb. Aware..Aware has my lil dog gone....Aware...Aware can he be?

Yes Bill, I guess it might be tough to follow the history of the car industry and understand that AFTER the cylinder race, it became trendy to design dual overhead cam 4 cylinders and the variations. Then factor in OPEC which wasn't an issue in the 40's or 50's and in the analogy we are still on dirt roads. Are you having trouble with this simple line of thought?
