Ram, I am calling China to find out the real factory production (of Super VCD players) status. I can't guarantee that I will get useful feedback. Sometimes these guys are very tight-mouthed afraid they are tipping off COMPETITIONS unnecessarily. I am hoping ESS will announce some positive news before Christmas to prepare the Wall Streets. They warned the Streets whenever they had bad news before, they ought to cheer the Streets whenever they are going to have a good quarter, too! Steve

Ram, I called Shengzhen about the SVCD market status. Here it is: ESST's SVCD is in demand (one guy in Yahoo board said ESS's SVCD is selling like Hot cakes!) and it is on allocation! It means you have to put order in and wait for limited quantities that ESST can ship to you on an agreed-upon date. It can also mean bad news such as backlog, lack of inventory, etc... But this is a good problem to have, especially for the manufacturing. The previous two quarters, the business was just too slow for ESST.... Steve
