Unfortunately, Dan, even if the politics were "clearly stated" as you request, you'd ignore them and divert. Unless ideas, facts, positions, etc., stem from your hallowed sources (as in, the flow from the WH spin machine mainstream sewer headwaters) they must not have any weight and are purely machinations of the evil right.

Still noting the "attack the messengers" diversions and even after a number of days away, I'm still missing the substantive debate of the issue of truth/lying/perjury and what it means when our president sets himself up above the laws that we have to live by . . .
