Jim, Anybody have news on S Jobs' "Fireside Chat" given this morning ? . I listened to Steve's chat, which was all Q & A format, with questions coming from the audience of educators. I heard 3 things worth reporting: 1) He stated the Quicktime 4, with it's awesome streaming capabilities, would be released at MacWorld. 2) When discussing Apple's improvements this year, he mentioned how they had beat Dell in inventory last Q, and he ended by saying he expected similar results this quarter. 3) When queried about his "interim" status, he explained that in January of this year, he decided he wouldn't give the subject any personal attention for one full year. I don't know if he was telegraphing something there, but it could suggest an announcement at MWSF. Other than that, it was typical Steve, with the crowd in the palm of his hand, except that it was nice to see him field a lot of questions. He handled them well. Scott
