<<<Yeah stevie, srcm just keeps making deals and forging new relationships and you keep shorting and bad mouthing. Well, it's not like you weren't warned.>>>

Greeeting MW,

Glad to see you popped yer gills out of the pond for a little conversation.

I think you sort of missed the point buddy, but that's not anything new for you. SRCM keeps making deals that bring them Zero revenue, and make them no more attractive to cable operators.

SRCM can make deals with every single software & Video on Demand vender in the business, it won't make TCI want to sign a deal with SRCM to use their software.

SRCM's software does not work with Java, it fails in demo's and it has never been tested on a cable system.

But the fact that AOL and MSFT's WebTV are throwing the full weight of their engineering and financial resources behind producing a competing product, makes the idea that SRCM could compete with these industry giants (particularly in SRCM's bleak financial condition), laughable.

Laughable to everyone but you buddy.

Let me know where to send the meal worms for your holiday present. I want to make sure you are nice and fat for my fishing trip with the Sony exec's - they think carp is a delicacy

Cheers Steve

<<<Whoa there sonnyboy. Be careful, if I didn't know you any better I might think you just admitted srcm has a product, an electronic program guide. AND it's a product somebody wants, DIVA!!! >>>>

MW,

I'm starting to think you got some fertilizer runn-off in the pond water, you're getting dreamy on me!!!

DIVA does not "want" SRCM's PRG, they want to make sure all of their bases are covered with companies that produce PRG's so they can try to get their foot in the door with the cable operators that sign with the PRG vendors. I think you are more than a little delusional to think that DIVA signing this deal with SRCM means DIVA endorses their product.

DIVA has the same deal with WorldGate and others bud, wipe the drool off yer chin and snort them smell'in salts.

SRCM is like a paper towel to DIVA, they just use em and throw em away.
