Go2Net Network Launches Ten Search and Discussion Channels; Portal to Receive MetaCrawler Users PR Newswire - December 09, 1998 08:46 SEATTLE, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Go2Net, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNET), a network of technology- and community-driven Web sites, today introduced ten category-specific search and discussion channels for the Go2Net Network portal, available at go2net.com). Developed with Go2Net's proprietary technologies to simultaneously search industry-leading sites in each category, the initial channels include computing, education, entertainment, finance, games, health, news, shopping, sports and travel. The company also announced that users of Go2Net's MetaCrawler search service will be redirected to the portal, effective today.
