Stock is Undervalued and we must have read different issues of Individual Investor.I have the January 1999 issue and on page 94 it features MMG and among other things it states "that there is $3.00 a share in cash" not the $2.94 you quote and it also states "that Analysts expect Metromedia to sell Snapper for $100 million or $1.50 a share"$3.00 + $1.50 =$4.50 which means that one is getting the Communications ventures for free and then some.Inm fact at 4 3/16 the rest of the operation is discounted also.

It goes on further to state that in the "estimate of James H. Friedland of Arnhold and S.Bleichroeder Metromedia's Communication division alone could Generate Revenue of $190 million in 1999 up from an estimated $125 million in 1998.

Looks like a no-brainer to me.
