But Bill Clinton's alleged draft dodging of 30 years ago was a hot topic among the substantive debate crowd here recently. Why aren't the adulterous papal knight Hyde's affairs of the same period relevant? All part of the grand moral reformation, I'd say.

As for cover up by misusing powers, the adulterous papal knight had a somewhat different view of that on the Iran-contra matter than he does now. That cover up never ended, though, so I guess it's different? Remember Ollie North shredding documents in one room, while Ed Meese gathered them in the next? "He had his job, I had mine."
