Sandra, I think that this one is going to be a monster when it goes public: Allen, Soros pony up for Priceline.com Priceline.com said it has concluded an investment round of more than $55 million from a group of corporate, institutional and private investors. The group includes Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen's Vulcan Ventures Inc., a subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation, Quantum Industrial Partners (a fund managed by Soros Fund Management) and Jim Manzi, former CEO of Lotus Development Corp. Including this round of capital, the "name your own price" retailer has raised almost $100 million.
