OT CTC, RE >The electorate votes by ballot, not through public opinion polls. Joe's point is correct.< Sorry, but there was no ballot proposal about impeachment. Voters voted for Representatives and Senators, the majority elected were Republicans. More votes were cast for Republicans Representatives than Democratic Representatives in the last election. The fact that Dems did better than expected did NOT make it a referendum on impeachment and even if it was the fact remains that more voted Republican than Democrat.
