Pat,

<Today I'm feeling a little dizzy.>

That has to be the understatement of the week. I think there is a huge problem with NN and it was outlined today in the Cambrian sell-out to Nortel.

TM owns too much of NN and too much of the affiliates. He personally cashed in $ 75 million today on the Cambrian deal. TM did this deal with no regard to the NN shareholders and IMO, let Nortel get away with the deal of a lifetime.

The MAN DWDM market will be huge and NN will face more challenges in the future in selling point ATM products vs total solution selling that LU,NT and CSCO will bring to the table.

I can't believe that this thread, who has in the past spoken of Cambrian as a wonderful asset, perhaps valued in the Billions and compared to CIEN, today defends the actions of TM.

I was getting pretty optimistic about NN under Lutz, but Mr. Matthews today reminded me why I keep staying away from any serious investment in NN.

Humbly yours,

Peppe
