Well, as long as Clinton doesn't admit to any crime, it will be very difficult to convict him of perjury or abuse of office.

So, his best defense is to stick with his version of the truth, and hope that the moderate Republicans in the House don't want to risk turning this country upside down for over a year on Senate Impeachment hearings.

If this goes to a Senate trial, there is a good chance that it won't be settled too much before our next elections. That could really hurt the Republican Party, as the general public will blame the Republicans for putting the country thru such a mess!
