TV:
Your last post is very informative but I point out to you that everything you state as fact is really hearsay and as such is not factual. BTW I hope you are right.
cheers

teevee - this is the internet, not a courtroom. Entirely different ethics and mores apply - here you can say any damn thing that SI Bob lets you get away with. And that is as it should be, imho - if wsp management chooses not to contribute to these threads (and they have been invited to do so #reply-1883169 ) then they should butt out and leave these threads and all threadsters therein completely alone and in peace.

I think Eric made a bad call with the 'salted' thing, you think he made a bad call .... hey, you know, I think even Eric thinks now that he made a bad call .... so what, it was his right to make the call, it will be his SI prediction scoresheet and his ego taking the hit.

That scoresheet looks pretty good overall, btw ... check it out ... ipmcf, pfg, npa, arp, bil ..... ok, so kry and wsp went against him, so what ..... if wsp management is so extremely misguided as to harass SIers for their comments, then they will imho join such losers as phv and ybm who have had similar reactions to criticism ...... check the charts on those.

I want to own shares in a responsible and competent diamond exploration outfit, not some vindictively litigious bunch of pissant ego-driven wastrels. ...... And I think I do.

Hi teevee,

I'm new to SI and have sat back and enjoyed the discussions on this and a few different threads. I own wsp and have for sometime. As many I hold a core position and trade. I phoned Sophie today to confirm or deny that the stones were checked as per your post. She told me that they were " fingerprinted " and offered no other information.
Do you know if they compared the diamonds of the 200 ton bulk sample to the diamonds that were found in their press releases on Sept 12/97 and Nov 12/97 ?
I have heard that the "finger prints " on the diamonds are all the same. To my way of thinking for any one to have " salted " the bulk sample they would have had to take one hell of a chance that no other diamonds would show up in the sample. If my source is wrong and the diamonds are from two or more different areas then Winspear and its principals are obligated to make this public now that they have the report. Therefore I agree with you that some of these rumors by individual(s) are due to a different agenda.
I look forward to your comments. Good luck to all.

regards,
dra
