You have to remember this...CheckFree is doing it for between 10%-20% of current cost via paper. ie..the potential cost savings is $6 to $13.5 Billion per year...to these 37 billers is powerful motivation....over a 10 year phase-in these folks will be highly motivated to make this happen. WhenEVER, you get yourself in a position to make a dime by saving somebody else a dollar...your odds of success are enhanced. What the Industrial Revolution did for the cost per unit to manufacture...the Internet will do for the cost of DISTRIBUTION of Information. Because the Internet is an Information DISTRIBUTION FACTORY. Prove my point...you say? OK...Watch this.....I'm up here in my office at the house in Michigan...I'm going to send this message around the Globe in 2 seconds or less, clicking my finger on something which never existed 30 years ago. Done! Think of the cost that would be associated putting SI on Paper. It couldn't happen, and wouldn't work. The savings to this form of distribution are so astronomical that it boggles my mind, you think we are motivated to be in this Channel, e-bills are going to save those billers mucho using this information factory. You could be dumb as wood...and have this figured. I'm living proof.
