>>>since the a/d line is lagging we have the same unhealthy internals that we had in mid summer<<<

Holy tamoli, Batman, >G< , I see weak advance decline lines as
a characteristic of the initial recovery period.

Americans want Social Security investment option, poll shows
How the poll on Social Security was conducted

WASHINGTON (December 9, 1998 7:27 p.m. EST nandotimes.com) -- In private talks with lawmakers, President Clinton has for the
first time said he supports using stock market investments to try to inject money into the financially troubled Social Security system.

The president's comments during the Wednesday talks came after months of declining to be specific about his preferences on how to
safeguard Social Security.

Lawmakers left the closed-door meetings saying they have new optimism they can reach compromise on action to bolster the nation's
retirement program next year.

"It's a good starting point," said House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Bill Archer, R-Texas.

However, Clinton has not decided how the stock market investments should be made -- by individual Americans in private accounts or
by the government investing their payroll tax contributions in bulk, his advisers said.

>>Narrow leadership is a characteristic of market tops not of new bull market legs.<<

That is old school thinking. In new world market has unlimited upside and 100% protection to the downside. This thread is one of the most bullish ex the tulip stocks threads. There is always "one more rally" then some mythical ski slope down 1-2 %. What a joke. AMZN call options may be bozo play but it is a winner.
