Robert - who are you using as an authority to imply a senate trial would consume years (it was only a few weeks, then a few months, and now you have stretched it to years)? Yet another one of those "throw out the irrational slop" and see if you can adjust popular opinion posts, eh? Most of the Senate is ready to put this thing to bed within days, not weeks. A house vote for impeachment satisfies the demeaning of Clinton's credibility to the degree that it puts him in crippled-duck as opposed to lame-duck status. Case closed. War won. On to the next election where he's more of an anchor than he is now. Mr. K.
