Enjoying your comments on trading. Have been at this since 1987, sold most before the crash because I thought prices were going up too fast. Smug? No. Got the bug to trade after that and have pissed away a lot of money as I buy back immediately after the sale knowing I had made a mistake. Independent Investor editor sites emotion as the number one reason people loose money. Taxes have really eaten into my profits because, recovering from all my other vices, trading became a new one.
For new folks, stay with a well researched bet and cut your losses short. My wife convinced me to stop messing around and hold AOL. We may really still be at the ground floor here. I study every day. But...the boo-boo tummy has subsided and with the information shared here I'm sure my new 'investing' strategy will be well rewarded.
Peace,
Craig
