Starfish, The volume came out good. That spoke volumes about the settlement (pun intended!). With a 1/2 move up? That broke the trend. Watch next few days, because some that took loss on 30 day wash sale (tax loss sale for 1998) will come back if the settlement is favorable. We need to know for sure the settlement has been finalized. After that, the pressure on this stock will ease up a bit. Ram

Dear Starfish: The terms of this settlement are typical if not generous. I know, sounds terrible. But I have had experience in these matters plus my best friend is an attorney who specializes in this bullshit. The case was weak to begin with in my judgement. These things get a lot of notoriety as the ATTORNEYS play it up since it is THEY who come out well BUT truth is noone else ever gets their loses back in my experience except MAYBE the named parties will get a reasonable fraction. The terms will be accepted because the attorneys will insist on it. JDN
