The reduced estimate, according to this, had nothing to do with the presumed hypersensitivity reaction.

It is simply not true that any Remicade for arthritis studies have been stopped. The study that was halted was a re-treatment study of patients with Crohn's. There have been no reported reactions in people using Remicade for arthritis, perhaps because they are using the new formulation or because they are taking methotrexate.
