Hey, Les, I missed this substantive reply. Yes, Roosevelt tried to pack the Supreme Court. He didn't succeed. Clarence Thomas sits on the Supreme Court for the next 30 years or so. As for the abortion litmus test, Thomas could have just said he didn't think it appropriate to answer those questions. Instead, he and his handlers invented this line about how he knew nothing about Roe v. Wade, and had never given it a thought. He said that under oath, you know. I guess the fact that he knew nothing about it is what made him the best man for the job, eh? This is totally aside from the other matter, on which there was some collaborating evidence that wasn't presented. I did like that link about Carter selling arms to Iran though, Les. I have to thank you again.
