1998 fieldwork completed at South Voisey Bay project Donner Minerals Ltd DML Shares issued 31,689,657 1998-12-09 close $0.25 Thursday Dec 10 1998 Mr. Harvey Keats reports Fieldwork for the 1998 South Voisey Bay project is now complete. Since commencement of fieldwork in May, 15,218 metres of drilling have been completed in 39 new holes and five deepened holes. The company has also completed 430km of line cutting, 643 line km of Crone PEM surveys, 358 line km of detailed gravity surveys and 1,460 stations of regional gravity surveys. A synopsis of work carried out during the 1998 field season will be provided in the coming weeks. The company and its joint venture partners are committed to continued exploration in 1999. The scope and cost of this program will be determined after a complete analysis of the 1998 program. Details of the 1999 program and budget will be provided in the first quarter of 1999 after the completion of the 1998 technical report by Teck/Donner and review of the report, program and budget by Donner's joint venture partners.
