Hi Suresh. Yes, it is all relative. As long as most everybody decides to play by the same rules everybody wins except non-conformers. Since MRK fell after the close, the DOW should have a net loss of ~20 points tomorrow morning to fight against. After a quick look at the DOW stocks, I think we could hear a couple of more pre-announcements perhaps out of ALD, CAT, and EK. There are weaker ones out there but analysts have already lowered estimates. I assume even if they miss slightly, they'll wait to tell us in Jan. No reason to spoil the party further. Clint
