Here I thought someone was manipulating Compaq stock to keep it down....and then they get buy recommendations by the brokerage houses, and WHOOSH! Off it goes.

Apple seems to like the 32 price lately!

I agree NASDAQ Marketmakers should be controlled like Specialists are on the NYSE and AMEX exchanges; better yet AAPL should move to one of those exchanges!

The only bright side of Marketmaker short selling is that eventually the MM's must buy to cover their short positions which can cause a sudden buying spree if good news hits unexpectedly. That is little consolation for those now holding at a loss (never buy NASDAQ on margin!)The problem is making sure you are still invested when payback time arrives. Good luck.
